Russian naval maneuvers - Chinese late May

The Ministry of National Defense of China that China and Russia will hold joint naval exercises in the East China Sea off Shanghai late May present .


The news agency " Xinhua " a report posted on the ministry's website that these exercises are training patrol regularly held by the naval forces of China and Russia and aims to promote practical cooperation between the two armies and enhance their capacity to deal with common threats to maritime security .

It is noteworthy that China and Russia have conducted similar exercises for a week off the coast of the Russian Far East in the past year , with the participation of seven ships from Beihai Fleet and Nanhai Fleet and 12 ships of the Russian Pacific Fleet .
